Killarney was established in 2009 by Carly Allen Throckmorton, ADCRG a certified Irish Dance instructor and adjudicator (TCRG/ADCRG) by the An Coimisiun Le Rince Gaelacha (ACLRG) based in Dublin, Ireland. Carly is also a member of the Irish Dance Teachers Association of North America (IDTANA) and the Western US Region of IDTANA.
Killarney is proud to offer a comprehensive range of Irish Dance instruction, catering to all skill levels from Beginner through Open Championship. Our commitment to maintaining small class sizes ensures that each student receives the individual attention necessary to master proper technique and choreography, allowing every dancer to reach their fullest potential.
Classes take place at the Killarney Dance Studio in Boise, Idaho, conveniently located within the Albertson's Marketplace at the corner of Five Mile and Ustick Road.
Our diverse class schedule runs Monday through Saturday, and includes offerings for all levels: Beginner, Advanced, Championship, team classes, drill sessions, adult classes, and competition workshops for major events such as the Oireachtas, Nationals and Worlds. We also offer recreational classes for those simply looking to dance for fun.
We welcome dancers of all ages, starting at 4 years old and continuing through adulthood.
